Alar base – base of the nose

“Alar base” is the English term for the base of the nose. The base of the nose has an equilateral triangular shape. The ideal ratio between the tip of the nose and the lower base, consisting of the wings of the nose and the bridge of the nose, is 1/3 to 2/3.
