Acne scars / scars after acne
Acne scars form after severe cases of acne or after unprofessional treatment of the condition.
Acne affects eighty to ninety percent of adolescents. Acne is often inherited. The climate, humidity and sunlight as well as a variety of medications can influence acne. Severe inflammation and injuries can lead to disfiguring scarring.
The face and upper body are often affected. Those affected experience a considerable reduction in their quality of life. Acne scars can be effectively treated with microneedling and treatment with the body’s own blood.
