Brazil has been a pioneer in aesthetic surgery for decades and is considered the “cradle of cosmetic surgery”. The training of plastic surgeons, particularly in the field of aesthetic surgery, is considered to be among the best in the world. The Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery – Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica (SBCP) was founded in 1948 and has over 5500 members.

Fri. Dr. Santos Stahl has been a member of the SBCP since 2003 and regularly attends the internationally renowned congresses of the Brazilian specialist society.
