Sweat gland removal to combat excessive underarm perspiration
Increased sweating, or hyperhidrosis, can lead to considerable suffering. The most common form, primary focal hyperhidrosis, mainly affects the armpits (hyperhidrosis axillaris), feet, hands or face, i.e. areas that are primarily responsible for emotional sweating. We can remove your sweat glands with a minor operation.
After appropriate preparation, the sweat glands are suctioned out using special cannulas. The scars from the small incisions are almost unrecognizable later on. This makes it possible to correct the problem of excessive sweating in the armpit area.
