Cookies

We use cookies in some areas in order to make our website user-friendly for you and to tailor it optimally to your needs. A cookie is a small file that is stored locally on your computer as soon as you visit a website. If you visit the website again with the same end device, the cookie indicates, for example, that it is a repeat visit. Cookies also enable us to analyze the use of our website. The cookie does not contain any personal data and cannot be used to identify you on third-party websites, including the websites of analytics providers.

We use the following types of cookies:

Essential/necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the functioning of our website. This is, for example, the allocation of anonymous session IDs for bundling several queries to a web server or the error-free functioning of logins and orders.

Functionality Cookies
These cookies help us to save settings you have selected or support other functions when you navigate our website. This allows us to remember your preferred settings for your next visit or save your login data for certain areas of our website.

Performance/statistics cookies
These cookies collect information about how you use our website (e.g. Internet browser used, number of visits, pages viewed or time spent on the website). These cookies do not store any information that allows personal identification of the visitor. The information collected with the help of these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

You can declare your consent or rejection of cookies – including for web tracking – via the settings of your web browser. You can configure your browser so that the acceptance of cookies is refused in principle or you are informed in advance when a cookie is stored. In this case, however, the functionality of the website may be impaired (e.g. when placing orders). Your browser also offers a function to delete cookies (e.g. via Delete browser data). Further information on this can be found in the operating instructions or, as a rule, in the settings of your Internet browser.

Anonymized website tracking

In order to better adapt this website to the needs of our customers, we analyze the visits to our website. Cookies are also set for this purpose. Our cookie only contains a unique number to recognize you on our websites, but not on third-party websites. The stored data is evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes; in particular, the IP address is not associated with a specific person. It will not be passed on to third parties.

Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use the newsletter service providers described below to process the newsletter.

MailChimp

This website uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service that can be used to organize and analyse the sending of newsletters, among other things. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), it will be stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA.

With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the email (known as a web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the USA. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not wish to be analyzed by MailChimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message.

The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.
Details can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/eu-us-data-transfer-statement/ and https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/#Annex_C_-_Standard_Contractual_Clauses.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, provided that this is necessary to prevent future unsubscriptions.
mailings is required. The data from the blacklist is only used for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of the
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

You can find more details in MailChimp’s privacy policy at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

We have concluded an order processing contract (AVV) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which ensures that the data controller processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Estheticon, s.r.o., company ID: 25044567, with registered office at: Dr. Milady Horákové 513/23a, Liberec, Czech Republic, only processes the IP address of the visitor in the context of displaying the widget due to the detection of spam activities.

Routine deletion and blocking of personal data

The controller shall process and store the personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage, or as far as this is granted by the European legislator or other legislators in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject to.

If the storage purpose no longer applies or if a storage period prescribed by the European legislator or another competent legislator expires, the personal data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Data protection for applications and in the application process

The data controller collects and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing can also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits corresponding application documents electronically, for example by e-mail, to the controller. If the controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If the controller does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted six months after notification of the rejection decision, unless deletion conflicts with any other legitimate interests of the controller. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Objection to advertising e-mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings. They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” takes place on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

You can find more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking in Google’s privacy policy: www.google.de/policies/privacy/

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to measure conversions.

This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the website operator.

You can find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook’s privacy policy: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also deactivate the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the settings for advertisements at www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Seals or widgets of jameda GmbH, St. Cajetan-Straße 41, 81669 Munich are integrated on our website. A widget is a small window that displays variable information. Our seal also works in a similar way, i.e. it does not always look the same, but the display changes. Although the corresponding content is displayed on our website, it is retrieved from the jameda servers at that moment. This is the only way to always show the current content, especially the current rating. For this purpose, a data connection must be established from this website to jameda and jameda receives certain technical data (date and time of the visit; the page from which the request is made; Internet Protocol address (IP address) used, browser type and version, device type, operating system and similar technical information), which are necessary for the content to be delivered. However, this data is only used to provide the content and is not stored or used in any other way. With the integration, we pursue the purpose and the legitimate interest of presenting current and correct content on our homepage. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR. We do not store the aforementioned data due to this integration. Further information on data processing by jameda can be found in the privacy policy at www.jameda.de.
