Age spots
Age spots are a benign and therefore harmless pigment disorder in the skin.
Areas of the body that are frequently exposed to sunlight (face, décolleté, back of the hands) develop dark spots with increasing age. These spots often appear after the age of forty and can be visually disturbing. Skin lightening creams or microneedling can reduce these symptoms.
