Age warts
Age-related warts are the most common benign skin tumors in humans. They usually occur more frequently from the age of fifty with increasing age. Age-related warts are caused by a proliferation of horn-forming skin cells (keratinocytes). The changes should be differentiated from black skin cancer by means of a dermatological examination. Rapid growth or a tendency for the skin lesion to bleed can be signs of malignant melanoma. Age warts can be removed with a laser or surgically.
