ASAPS – largest organization since 1967
ASAPS stands for American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
The ASAPS is the largest organization for plastic aesthetic surgery in the USA and was founded in 1967. In addition to certification, membership requires that a plastic surgeon attends regular training courses, performs a minimum number of aesthetic plastic surgeries and adheres to a code of conduct. All ASAPS members are obliged to perform operations in accredited surgical facilities.
