Quantification of facial fat compartments variations according to gender age and BMI
This publication presents a 3-dimensional morphometric analysis of the facial fat compartments in relation to gender, age, and BMI. The study found that there are significant differences in the distribution and volume of facial fat compartments between males and females, as well as between different age groups and BMI categories. The authors suggest that this information could be useful for plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly in procedures such as cheek augmentation or facelifts. By providing a detailed analysis of the facial fat compartments, the study offers a more precise and individualized approach to facial rejuvenation. The authors declare no conflicts of interest with respect to the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article, and no financial interest in any of the products, devices, or drugs mentioned in the manuscript. No external funding was received for this study. Overall, this publication demonstrates the authors’ expertise in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery and their commitment to advancing the field through rigorous scientific research.
